Build a blanket den that stays up
Use chairs, sheets and pegs to build a cosy reading place, then test which small design changes make it stronger.
What to do

Ask a grown-up to place two sturdy chairs where nobody needs to walk past.

Drape the lightest sheet across the chair backs and clip it with pegs.

Leave one whole side open, then place cushions on the floor before climbing in.

Test one gentle change at a time, such as moving a peg or lowering one corner.
- 5
Choose a book or quiet game for the finished den, then agree when it will come down.
